Ten Years of Music
Mägi Ensemble is 10 years old on January 10th! The Mägi Ensemble was founded 10 years ago on our namesake, Ester Mägi’s 90th Birthday. Although Ester sadly passed away in 2021, we will be celebrating January 10th for what would have been her 100th Birthday. We are so happy that after all of the craziness of the past year and half that we are still here, we are still singing and we are still spreading Baltic music all around the world.
This year, we are happy to get back into the music with one another after singing virtually for the past season. We plan on releasing our third album, participating in Baltic and Seattle-based choral conferences, and expanding our local outreach to bring Baltic music to the younger generation.
